Laundry Attendant

Cleans and prepares hotel linens in accordance with established standards to assure guest satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sort, pre-treat, wash, dry, press, and fold hotel linens to departments as needed Ensure washers and dryers operate properly, and informs management or maintenance of any malfunctions or problems Maintain linen cart and supplies in a neat and organized manner Respond to requests from hotel staff in a timely and efficient manner Maintain security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day Make certain that the laundry area is kept clean and is well maintained Maintain a professional image through appearance and dress Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of general laundry cleaning principles, use of laundry products, and operation of standard laundry equipment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
