Job Details Job Summary We are seeking a disciplined and highly skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing menu items with absolute precision, consistency, and artistry. Key Responsibilities- Mise-en-Place: Execute daily station setup, including advanced prep work, butchery, and the creation of complex sauces and garnishes to exact specifications.
- Service Execution: Cook and plate high-quality dishes according to established recipes, ensuring every plate meets the restaurant's rigorous standards for taste and visual presentation.
- Station Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation throughout high-volume service periods.
- Quality Control: Monitor product freshness and manage inventory rotation (FIFO) to minimize waste and ensure top-tier ingredient quality.
- Coordination: Communicate effectively with other stations and the expeditor to ensure all components of an order are completed simultaneously and delivered promptly.
- Safety & Sanitation: Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local health codes and internal protocols.
- Adaptability: Accurately accommodate special guest requests, including severe allergies and diverse dietary restrictions.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a high-end or fine-dining environment required.
- Technical Mastery: Superior knife skills and proficiency in various advanced cooking methods (e.g., sauteing, roasting, grilling, sous-vide).
- Certifications: Current Food Handler or ServSafe certification is required.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for 810+ hour shifts and lift at least 4050 lbs regularly in a hot, fast-paced kitchen.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $25.00)
