The location for this position is Woodbridge Early Childhood Education Center . This is a 12-month benefit eligible position. The salary scale is attached to this posting. SUMMARY : Performs custodial duties as assigned by the chief custodian. Develops and implements custodial services which will provide clean, comfortable, healthful, safe and attractive buildings. Keeps the District's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : *This is representative of the functions of this position, but is not all-inclusive. Performs general custodial responsibilities; i.e., scrub, wax, buff, dust, sweep or clean floors, walls, blinds, furniture, lavatories, locker rooms, lockers, shelves, offices, fixtures and glass surfaces, as required to preserve designated spaces. Assists in maintaining seasonal grounds work (snow. lawn) Restocks disposable items and provides head custodian with inventory usage and data. Assists in the delivery of supplies and equipment. Assists outside organizations using school facilities, as assigned. Follows all District and building safety regulations. Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : Night Supervisor supervises night custodian. Custodians may supervise summer youth workers. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
