Job Details Han Cha is a tea cafe rooted in ritual and craft an unhurried experience built around high quality loose-leaf teas, seasonal drinks, and simple, thoughtful food. Yunomi Bar extends the spirit of Han Cha into evening service. Both concepts operate within the Stony Island Arts Bank, a destination for culture, community, and beauty steps from the Obama Presidential Center. The building itself is part of the experience. Our team members are stewards of a remarkable place.
W H A T Y O U ' L L D O
-Wash, sanitize, and restock all dishware, glassware, teaware, and utensils in a timely, organized manner
-Clear and reset tables between guests; maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment throughout service
-Support the service team by running items, restocking supplies, and communicating needs clearly
-Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dish station, and service areas
-Empty trash and recycling; break down boxes; manage waste stations properly
-Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols as directed

-Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned
-Handle all equipment and dishware with care this is a space that values beautiful objects
-Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player your role makes everyone else's possible
-Ability to stay organized and move efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Comfortable on your feet for extended shifts; able to lift up to 40 lbs
-Positive attitude; genuine interest in hospitality and the work of a thoughtful cafe
-Prior dish or bussing experience preferred, but not required we will train the right person

- Must be eligible to work in the United States
-Connection to or interest in Chicago's South Side community is always a plus
