Job Summary

As a Fitness Attendant, it is your responsibility to provide membership with a safe, friendly and clean environment that makes them feel welcome in order to enhance the members' fitness experience. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, outgoing and have a service-oriented personality. The Fitness Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the members adhere to all wellness and safety policies while using the Fitness facility. The Fitness Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, re-supply and organization of the fitness center equipment and amenities. This position requires the Fitness Attendant to maintain a positive attitude and warm demeanor when engaging with our members. Our members rely on attentive staff to guide them and enforce club rules and policies, so clear communication and respect are a must.

Job Summary

Accommodate club members and visitors by greeting and registering guests Maintain cleanliness of fitness center. Perform duties as listed while maintain a high level of customer service. Transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of guests' accounts, and assisting fitness staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, register, and direct members of club.
• Answer phone calls in a professional manner; respond to questions from club members and visitors about fitness programs offered.
• Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when members or visitors report problems if it's beyond your abilities.
• Keep records of members' participation for scheduling requirements.
• Perform fitness orientations, junior fitness certifications and fitness evaluations as scheduled as you have been trained to do so by the fitness director.
• Answer calls and take suggestions which may be applicable to the Fitness Department.
• Preserve Fitness areas as need to support trainers, instructors, and your director.
• Wipe down all equipment as needed. Pick up fitness center and replace items in their proper place.
• Restock towels, water, and cleaning products as needed.
• Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations governing all fitness center activities.
• Support country club as needed.
• Special projects as assigned by management
