Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Breakfast Line Cook for The Farnam, Autograph Collection in Omaha, NE.

Hourly wage: $15.00 to $21.00 , depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Purpose:

Prepare food according to recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen. Provide warm, knowledgeable service that supports a positive guest experience.

  • Prepare food items according to recipes, guest orders, and brand standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness of all work areas, equipment, and storage to meet health regulations.

  • Inspect and use quality ingredients for all menu items.

  • Follow proper storage and portion control to ensure consistency.

  • Receive and store deliveries correctly.

  • Report maintenance issues promptly.

  • Communicate with kitchen leadership and other departments as needed.

  • Support guest needs with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Participate in inventories and ongoing improvement programs.

  • Follow company policies and maintain positive teamwork.

  • Assist other departments in emergencies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience with major hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Hyatt) preferred.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

  • Basic math and recipereading skills.

  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and kitchen equipment.

  • Ability to demonstrate culinary techniques safely.

This job requires the ability to perform the following:

  • Work in varying temperatures (freezer to hot kitchen).

  • Stand and move for long periods.

  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly; push/pull up to 250 lbs.

  • Bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.

  • Use knives, kitchen tools, and equipment safely.

  • Maintain visual and hearing awareness in a busy environment.
