School Custodians, part-time

The Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union seeks motivated individuals to join its custodial/maintenance team to help create a safe and healthy learning environment for our students and staff. Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a background in cleaning, building maintenance, or construction are a plus. The expected assignments for these positions are expected to be at Wolcott Elementary School and at Hazen Union School. The Wolcott position will require afternoon/evening hours, with a shift differential paid for hours worked after 3 p.m. The Hazen position is anticipated to be a 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. shift. These positions have a start date of July 1, 2026. The positions fall into the Union Support Collective Bargaining Unit and offer excellent benefits and paid time off. The wage range is based on the OSSU Support Staff Master Agreement and varies based on years of experience, relevant college degree, and/or high-level relevant certification. Job Requirements
Must be able to pass a full background check. Reliable transportation is needed to travel to other schools occasionally. Some online training will be required.
