Job Summary:
The Farm Shop Shift Lead will have responsibilities including - but not limited to - ordering, arranging transfers and cash handling training. Will work closely with the Store Manager, Supervisor and Director of Retail Operations to assist where needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as an ambassador and representative for Los Poblanos brand and properties.
- Greet guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guests' needs and questions
- Become fluent in our wholesale lavender line so you can train and explain to customers
- Become knowledgeable about our third-party vendors
- Share product knowledge with guests and ring them up at the register
- Operate as a team member of the retail shop and Coffee Bar
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Essential Job Functions:
- Greet guests and assist with their shopping needs.
- Assist guests with shopping baskets or taking items to the cash wrap area
- Work as Barista at our coffee bar making drinks and selling bakery items.
- Share product knowledge with every guest
- Assist retail staff with register, coffee bar and product knowledge
- Wrap orders according to company standard
- Gift wrap items as requested
- Standardize sales floor throughout the day
- Perform restock as needed, check what is missing on the floor
- Process shipment as it arrives
- Assist with quarterly inventory counts
- Communicate with customers to resolve complaints or ensure satisfaction
- Assist with food and lavender orders
- Perform Retail Shop opening and closing procedures
Requirements
- A minimum of (1) year of experience working in a retail setting
- Prefer Barista experience
- Excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills required
- Able to work under pressure and remain calm to resolve problems using good judgment
- Able to work cohesively with co-workers as part of one team
- Problem-solving skills and deductive reasoning abilities
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, reach and walk 8 to 10 hours a day
- Able to grasp, lift, carry. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. in short intervals throughout the day
- Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- We will require you to perform Serve Safe and receive your Alcohol Server's Permit after onboarding
