TITLE: Health Maintenance Worker I (Part-time)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform cleaning functions in Health Clinic to maintain an attractive, sanitary and orderly environment contributing to patient comfort, employee morale and staff satisfaction.
• Complete cleaning details according to schedule and maintain established departmental standards.
• Understand, demonstrate, and assist with procedures regarding Infection Control and Safety.
• Maintain work area in the condition required by health care standards.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies\/paper products in closets to make sure properly supplied and ready for work.
• Report equipment and fixture repairs immediately to the Facilities Manager.
• Record and report immediately to Facilities Manager if property damage has occurred and if unusual activities have transpired within and around the buildings and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned and accepts other work projects independently. \n

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D and one year experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be flexible and willing to work hours as specified.
• Mature, responsible person.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and set priorities independently.
• Must be willing to obtain training and certification for maintaining health care facilities.
• Will work in areas where small amount of blood may be present, as well as infectious agents.
• Must successfully complete background investigations. \n

SUPERVISION:

• Supervised by the Facilities Manager. \n
