3rd shift $16 an hour SUMMARY Cleans and sanitizes according to EVS procedures and policies. Performs special cleaning/EVS procedures. SOME SPECIFIC DUTIES MAY INCLUDE: Has demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities as required by Tech I and Tech II. Understands all waste types and is able to dispose of it in correct manner. Collects Infectious and Hazardous Waste from all areas and prepares it for pick up. Demonstrates knowledge of different floor types and has ability to scrub, burnish and refinish floors Perform and instruct cleaning procedures according to procedures. Hang cubicle and window curtains. Utilize paging system and spectra link phones. Utilize HEV system Routinely clean isolation rooms Ability to work without constant supervision Help with inventory and control of supplies. QUALIFICATIONS HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate. Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary. Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instruction. 1-2 Years' Experience in Environmental Services or Related Field Required.
