Maintenance Tech - Janitor Work Location: Exton, PA 19341 Assignment Duration: 3 Months Work Schedule: Second Shift - 3:30 PM - 12 Midnight, Sunday thru Thursday Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary: Under supervision the Technician II Building Services is to be a contributor in maintaining all aspects of a clean, secure and a safe work environment throughout the organization site with specific attention assuring that products and Facilities are of consistent and high quality. Background & Context: The Organization is a market leader in regenerative medicine and in the supply of biomaterials for medical devices. The organization possesses expertise in the research, development, scale-up and supply of novel materials and medical devices. This market is growing at a double digit rate and is characterized by long term commitment. Intellectual property is of paramount importance in this high value added market arena. Operations takes care of the timely and adequate supply of the finished goods at the agreed quality and ensures that the delivery of these finished goods to the customers is executed in line with the sales contracts and commercial orders. Key Responsibilities: Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for entire facility. Duties will include but not be limited to vacuuming, dusting, mopping, trash removal, recycling, window glass cleaning and floor care / resurfacing. Operate and maintain equipment such as, auto floor scrubbers, burnishing buffers, stripping machines and vacuums. Perform scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance of all CEA manufacturing spaces assuring compliance with environmental controls required to maintain all Controlled Environment Areas used in the production processes. Support Maintenance department with building services support indoors & out as required. Work overtime as required to support scheduled quarterly shutdowns along with unscheduled work assignments as circumstances dictate. Complete entries in Inspection Record Log Books. Contribution is limited to performing own duties on a timely basis in an effective manner. Collaborates with team; shares relevant information with those who may be affected by decisions. Expresses one's ideas and listens to ideas of others. Keeps appropriate people informed and up-to-date. Assist in the training and integration of all new hires to department daily/weekly/monthly work assignments and tasks along with department work quality standards. Qualification & Experience: Education High School or Equ. Auto floor scrubbers Burnishing buffers Stripping machines Vacuums Comply with all job-related safety, security, and other training requirements. Report any SHE and Security incidents (including observed risks) to management. Show behavior in line with the SHE and Security risks and agreed controls. Comply with Life Saving Rules. Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable): Work overtime as required to support scheduled quarterly shutdowns along with unscheduled work assignments as circumstances dictate.
