Busy cocktail bar is looking for a full-time bartender and dishwasher/Porter. we are looking for people who want to become part of a small, tight-knit team.
The ideal candidate has bartending experience, though we also welcome people who are eager to learn and grow within our team. All new hires begin with a few weeks in the dish pit, where they learn our systems, workflow, and the pace of service. This hands-on training period provides a strong foundation in how the bar operates and helps build communication and teamwork across all roles. From there, team members gradually take on prep and support responsibilities before moving into bartending duties as they become comfortable with our standards and service style.
This is a fast-paced bar, so organization, communication, punctuality, and the ability to stay composed under pressure are all important. Basic knife skills and general kitchen/bar prep experience are a big plus.
Schedule:
We are also hiring for a dedicated dishwasher/porter position focused on cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and general support duties to help keep the bar running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone dependable, organized, and comfortable working behind the scenes in a fast-paced environment.
* WednesdaySunday
* Bar hours are 5 PM 1 AM
* Shifts typically begin around 3 PM or 4 PM depending on the day
* Full-time availability preferred (approximately 40 hours/week)
*Paid breaks and a consistent 2 day weekend (Mon-Tues)
Compensation:
* $16/hour to start. Raises reflect growth and development.
* Tips are pooled and distributed among bartenders, prep staff, and dishwashers in addition to wages
* Health care offered to all full-time employees
