Concierge - Indian Community Liaison We are seeking a highly motivated and culturally aware individual to join our team as a Concierge - Indian Community Liaison in Akron, Ohio. This position will involve working closely with the local Indian community, providing assistance and support to community members, and promoting cultural understanding and inclusion within our organization. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a primary point of contact for the local Indian community, building relationships and acting as a liaison between the community and our organization - Provide assistance and support to Indian community members, including helping with translation, navigating local resources, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have - Plan and organize cultural events and activities that promote diversity and inclusivity within our organization - Collaborate with other departments to ensure that services and programs are accessible to the Indian community - Stay current on cultural trends, practices, and customs within the Indian community to better serve their needs - Act as an advocate for the Indian community within our organization, promoting understanding and inclusion among colleagues - Maintain accurate records of interactions with the Indian community for reporting purposes Qualifications: - Must be from an Indian background or have significant experience working with the Indian community - Fluency in Hindi or other relevant language(s) preferred - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate cross-cultural situations effectively - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on qualifications) Location: Akron, Ohio (remote work may be considered) This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about promoting diversity and has a strong understanding of the needs of the local Indian community.
