Daytime Building Maintenance Technician Location: Downtown Kansas City, MO

Schedule: M–F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Plus On-Call)

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 / hour

Position Overview We are seeking three motivated Daytime Engineers for our downtown team (One Kansas City Place & 12 Wyandotte). We welcome "green" or entry-level candidates who recently completed HVAC programs and have the drive to learn. You will handle daily facility operations, respond to tenant needs, and maintain landmark properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Perform routine tasks including HVAC filter changes, coil cleaning, basic plumbing resets, and light electrical troubleshooting.
  
  
• Equipment Monitoring: Assist in monitoring building automation systems, rooftop units, and commercial condensing units.
  
  
• Tenant Satisfaction: Respond to daily tenant comfort calls and maintenance requests professionally.
  
  
• Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols on roofs and inside facilities.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
  
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to pass a foundational engineering check.
  
  
• Exceptional work ethic, dependability, and a desire to learn.
  
  
• Preferred: HVAC certification/degree from trade programs like MCC (Penn Valley) or JCCC.
