This position contributes to Starbucks/University of Arizona success by providing legendary customer service to all customers. Duties & Responsibilities- Greet and welcome customers while providing exceptional customer service.
- Take orders, including offering menu recommendations and noting dietary restrictions or special requests.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and food items according to the standardized recipes or as customized for customers.
- Maintains food safety standards.
- Receive and process payments accurately using the point of sale systems.
- Assists with opening and closing duties, ensuring all stations, equipment, and storage areas are properly secured and stocked.
- Restock supplies such as cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups and food items.
- Maintain workstations, including keeping them clean and stocked.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing equipment, wiping counters, and following food safety standards.
- Monitors and records appropriate temperatures for storage and equipment to ensure product quality and safety.
- Ensures all food prep equipment, stations and storage areas are cleaned and maintained.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Knowledge of Starbucks culture, values, and mission.
- Knowledge of sanitation and quality food service standards.
- Knowledge of weights and measures.
- Ability to effectively communicate and provide excellent customer service.
Physical Requirement:
- Ability to occasionally transport/move a maximum of 50 pounds.
