A Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily cleaning operations to ensure facilities meet high sanitation and guest service standards . They train and schedule staff, inspect guest rooms and common areas, manage supply inventories, and act as a liaison between the cleaning team and management. [ 1 , 2 ] Core Responsibilities
    • Team Leadership: Conduct morning briefings, assign daily tasks, and manage staff schedules and attendance. [ 1 ]
    • Quality Control: Inspect rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are met. Address and resolve substandard work. [ 1 , 2 ]
    • Training & Development: Train new housekeepers on proper cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and equipment usage. [ 1 , 2 ]
    • Inventory Management: Monitor stock of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ]
  • Guest Relations: Respond promptly to guest complaints and special requests to ensure a positive experience. [ 1 ]
  • Maintenance Coordination: Identify and log maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, plumbing leaks) and coordinate with the maintenance team for
  • Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
  • Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
  • Ability to lift and/or move 1025 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
