Starting Wage: $16/hr with $1 raise after first 60 days. Tip share of $2-6 per hour on top of hourly wage. Experienced cooks may receive a higher starting wage.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
Cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including dishwashing duties
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
Support menu planning efforts by assisting with ingredient prep and portioning
Ensure timely delivery of orders to meet service expectations
Assist with catering events or special functions as needed to support overall food service operations
Qualifications

Prior experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, catering, or dietary departments is highly desirable
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary fundamentals, including knife skills and meal prep
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support various kitchen tasks including dishwashing and prep work
Experience with dietary aide responsibilities or menu planning is a plus but not required
Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing positively to the team environment
