General Maintenance Engineer

As an EntryLevel General Maintenance Engineer at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, you'll support the upkeep and functionality of our property by assisting with basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to guest and team needs. Located in the heart of downtown and steps from the Superdome, our hotel operates at a fast pace serving guests from around the world. What You'll Do

• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs in guest rooms, public spaces, and backofhouse areas
• Support preventative maintenance programs for equipment and building systems
• Respond to guest and colleague maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform basic tasks related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, shops, and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards or issues
• Assist senior engineers and supervisors with projects and troubleshooting
• Accurately document work orders and completed tasks
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and wellfunctioning environment
