About Deda
Deda is a Georgian restaurant celebrating the food, flavors, and hospitality of the country of Georgia. Our menu draws on traditional Georgian sweets and pastries, and were looking for a Pastry Chef to help us bring that tradition to life every day.

The Role
Youll be responsible for executing our current pastry menu and developing new desserts for seasonal menus and updates throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the current pastry menu to a consistent standard.
  • Develop new desserts for seasonal menus and ongoing menu updates.
  • Prep and plate desserts during service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized station and follow food safety standards.
  • Work closely with the Chef and owners on new ideas and tastings.

What Were Looking For

  • Pastry experience in a restaurant kitchen.
  • Interest in Georgian cuisine familiarity is a plus, but were happy to teach the right person.
  • Creativity and a point of view on dessert.
  • Reliable, organized, and a good teammate.
  • ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
