Custodial Worker (Housekeeper)

About the position: This position will be a CUSTODIAL WORKER assigned to SAKAKAWEA INN at Minot AFB, ND This is a FLEXIBLE (FLEX) position. A Flex (Intermittent) schedule does not have guaranteed hours, and you may work 0-40 hours per week as needed by the facility.

Employees are eligible to use the fitness center, golf course, bowling center, clubs, and swimming pool. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Experience in the proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Ability to clean and make adjustments to powered cleaning equipment. Ability to perform the full range of cleaning duties and follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps. Physically able to frequently move and control heavy equipment, including pushing carts, weighing more than 100 pounds, loaded with dirty laundry or wastepaper. Physically able to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more. Ability to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
