2nd Shift Custodian, Richmond Middle High School

Richmond Middle/High School is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to
join our facilities team as a Second Shift Custodian. This position plays a vital
role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff,
and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
? Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and
common areas
? Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces as needed
? Empty trash and recycling containers
? Restock supplies and maintain inventory
? Set up and break down spaces for events or activities
? Monitor building security and ensure doors/windows are secured at end of
shift
? Perform minor maintenance tasks and report larger issues to
administration
? Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent
? Prior custodial or maintenance experience (preferred)
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
? Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks regularly
? Must pass background check requirements (CHRC-Maine DOE)

$18.54 to $21.83 pay scale depending upon experience as well as a $0.30/hour
shift differential. Benefit packages include: 100% employer paid single health
