Lead Housekeeper

Under general supervision, performs work at the full-performance level as a lead worker in scheduling and/or reviewing the work of others and guiding and training them while performing similar work. May oversee the work of others assigned to perform housekeeping duties. Work requires the completion of custodial tasks required for compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, OHFLAC etc. Reads and comprehends all material safety data sheets for information on all products used. Represents supervisor at meetings as assigned. Performs other related work as required. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. May work rotating or other shifts. Schedules are subject to change per operational needs. This is a tobacco free campus. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete chemical urinalysis and breath analysis screening. All employees shall be subject to drug testing and alcohol testing for probable causes, as set forth in bureau and agency policies. Applicants must successfully complete a background check.

Experience:

One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in housekeeping.
