Position Summary
The Trillium Tysons is seeking friendly, energetic, and service-oriented Dining Room Servers to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents by delivering high-quality meal service with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. Our Dining Room Servers play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors, takes pride in providing outstanding customer service, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet residents and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Escort and seat residents and guests in the dining room.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve meals and beverages in accordance with established service standards.
- Maintain dining room cleanliness and organization using a "clean as you go" approach.
- Set up and break down dining areas before and after meal service.
- Assist with special events, celebrations, and community functions.
- Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Support and assist fellow team members to ensure excellent resident service.
- Help train and orient new dining staff as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain professional appearance, personal hygiene, and excellent customer service standards.
- Attend required training sessions and team meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional service.
