Position Summary Information Job Goal:
Maintain clean, healthy, attractive school buildings and grounds. Handle all assigned tasks in an efficient manner. Be able to work independently and use initiative in making decisions. Be prompt and reliable.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Report for duty to your supervisor at assigned times to be given any special instructions and briefed on any special problems.

Assist with the maintenance and clearing of the school buildings including sweeping, vacuuming of hallways and classrooms, dusting, glass cleaning, carpet cleaning, or other duties that are assigned.

Empty wastebaskets on a daily basis or as directed and empty recycling containers.

Fill dispensers and spot clean on a routine basis or as needed.

Maintain care of floor with scrubbing. Assist with the spot scrubbing and scrubbing of carpets in rooms and hallways.

Responsible for keeping rest rooms clean and sanitary.

Assist with unlocking the building in the morning and locking the building at the close of the day.

Assist with set up rooms for classes and other meetings as assigned by the Campus Operations Director.

Perform routine inspection on equipment and report findings to supervisor.

Assist with inventory of cleaning supplies and paper products and report information to your supervisor.

Assist with the cleaning and proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment and tools.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

Related work experience or training desired.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES :

Must possess a valid drivers license.

Essential Functions:
Should have knowledge in maintenance and operation of equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaning machines, humidifiers, de humidifiers, restroom dispensers, etc. Must be able to maintain a courteous and pleasant attitude and be a loyal team worker. Must be able to clear background checks.
