PURPOSE OF POSITION: Dining Room Attendants are responsible for keeping an assigned area of the Day Restaurant clean and sanitized, or delivering Food and Beverage items to guests. Specific job duty will be assigned by the MOD daily. Tasks include clearing dirty dishes from tables, sanitizing and disinfecting tables and chairs, delivering all Food and Beverage items to the guests, attending the beverage station, emptying bus carts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of Food and Beverage items offered
Knowledge of dining room names, table number, and seat numbers
Understanding of sequence of service in the Day Restaurants
The ability to greet, assist, direct, and anticipate guest needs
Complete side work as assigned before and after service
Remain stationed in an assigned area during service hours
Have a working knowledge of beverage station stocking, re-ordering procedures and equipment
Have a thorough knowledge of all Deer Valley services and amenities
Assist other employees when necessary
Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS:
May be required to work outdoors as business demand dictates
Will work near moving or mechanical parts
May work near toxic/caustic chemicals and with fumes or airborne particles
Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business demand dictates
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrate a skill set relating to the functions of a full-service restaurant
Demonstrate excellent communication and positive interpersonal skills
S.M.A.R.T. Card certification
Utah Food Handlers certification
Frequent walking and/or standing for long periods of time
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
