We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Kitchen Main/Sous Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. As the Kitchen Main, you will be the backbone of our food establishment, maintaining safety standards, managing food handling procedures, and fostering a positive team atmosphere to deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests. Ideally seeking a cook versatile in cooking and baking as we produce everything in house.

Duties

Lead food preparation activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage to minimize waste.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
Assist in kitchen production of the cafe and events ensuring the team's performance
Qualifications

3-5 years in management and culinary production with an aptitude to learn
Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-volume setting.
Ability to perform basic math for transactions, inventory counts, and retail math calculations.
