We are a fast-paced casual/dining restaurant focused on great food, attentive service, and a welcoming guest experience. Were seeking an organized, energetic Floor Manager to support daily floor operations and help lead our front-of-house team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise front-of-house staff (servers, hosts, bussers) during shifts; coach and support team members.
Ensure excellent guest service: greet guests, handle seating, manage wait times, and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Oversee service flow and table turns to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
Monitor dining room appearance, cleanliness, and setup; coordinate with back-of-house and bussing stations.
Assist with staff scheduling, shift briefings, and training new hires.
Manage POS operations, process payments, and ensure accurate cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation.
Enforce health, safety, and liquor service policies.
Communicate effectively with kitchen management to coordinate timing and special requests.
Support inventory control of front-of-house supplies and report shortages.
Help implement promotions, specials, and upselling initiatives.
Qualifications:
2+ years experience in restaurant service; 1+ year in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and solving problems on the spot.
Familiarity with Toast POS systems and cash handling procedures.
Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service laws; ServSafe or similar certification preferred.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Positive attitude, professional appearance, and ability to stand/walk for long periods.
