About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping operations of our 30-room motel. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who leads by example and takes pride in delivering a consistently clean and welcoming guest experience. The Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a small team of housekeepers, performing quality control checks, managing supply inventory, and creating staff schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and common areas meet cleanliness and quality standards
Conduct regular inspections of cleaned rooms and public areas to ensure standards are met
Assist with room cleaning and laundry duties as needed during peak periods or staff shortages
Train and support housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures and health & safety standards
Manage housekeeping supply inventory, placing orders when necessary to ensure adequate stock levels
Create and maintain weekly staff schedules based on occupancy levels and operational needs
Communicate effectively with front desk and maintenance teams regarding room status or maintenance issues
Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and organizational standards at all times
Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience required, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Comfortable performing physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to lead a small team effectively and positively
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as required
