The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time or part-time Banquet Server to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. Our Server team are outgoing, guest-oriented team of members that contributes to the success of events like luncheons, weddings, proms, business meetings, and other functions. What will you do?

Set tables and buffet areas for service

Accommodate all guests and address inquiries

Replenish buffet food, refill beverages, and remove dirty dishes from tables

Assist in additional tasks to help facilitate a smooth and efficient service

More about you

21 years or older

Customer service oriented, positive attitude, an openness to learn, and a desire to contribute to a team

Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Very organized with a strong attention to detail and effective communication

Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names

Available for on-call events that include nights, weekends, and holidays

No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions

Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners

Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 pounds

Visual acuity and hearing are sufficient to take orders and prepare bills
