Position Summary:
Effectively promote, take and deliver food and beverage orders.

Job Description

The Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and ensuring a hygienic environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing: Efficiently wash and sanitize all dishware, glassware, and silverware.
• Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, floors, and walls.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain kitchen equipment in good working order, including cleaning, sanitizing, and minor repairs.
• Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and recyclables according to hotel policies.
• Sanitation: Adhere to strict sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Inventory: Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and kitchenware.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures.
