UNDER CLOSE SUPERVISION
Dusts and polishes furniture, equipment, and work area surfaces
Scrubs and cleans floors, stairs, and woodwork
Operates and assists with rides and attractions for transportation and amusement of guests
Assists with stripping and waxing floors
Cleans bathrooms including commodes and urinals, and replaces supplies
Empties waste and recycling containers
Vacuums, cleans and sweeps carpets
Washes windows and mirrors
Assists with setup of tables and chairs
Performs related work
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Meets regular and punctual attendance standards and any special needs of the position as determined by management, including mandatory overtime and performing related work
Spends prolonged periods of time sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping and climbing
Visually inspects equipment prior to use and notifies management of problems, issues or concerns
Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds
Lifts and carries items weighing over 50 pounds in a team setting
Must have sufficient hearing and sight to observe activities, equipment and environment and to recognize and take action in the interest of the safety of zoo guests and employees
Other Minimums:
Must work a varied schedule
