Job DetailsJF Restaurants by Michelin-Starred and Award-winning Chef John Fraser is seeking a Floor Manager at The Terrace & Outdoor Gardens Restaurant inside of the Time Square Edition Hotel.
The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Front of House operations and employees in accordance with company policies and procedures and works concurrently with Back of House ensuring a successful operation. Interacts with the dining room guests, fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Actively manage the floor during peak service times and events to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist in training and supervising staff, ensuring they provide top-notch service.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and scheduling staff.
- Conduct pre-service meetings with staff to finalize details and expectations.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain high visibility during service to provide support and address any issues.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of high volume restaurant Management experience
- Proven experience working with event execution.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Actively strive to ensure that we remain compliant with all local, state, and federal employment laws and Department of Health standards
- Certification in NYC Food Protection License is required.
