Permanent Highway Maintenance Worker 1 (HMW1) or Highway Technician 1 (HT1) - Hamilton County - PN20062951, 20064029 & 20064036

The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications.

What You Will Do:

• You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer
• You will attend training to obtain CDL licensure; if not already a licensed CDL holder
• You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing
• You will perform snow and ice operations

Highway Maintenance Worker 1:

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary. Must obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement and without airbrake restriction within six (6) months of permanent hire date.

Highway Technician 1:

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions; & ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; & 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment. Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement and without airbrake restriction.
