Senior Center Kitchen Helper

Garrett County Community Action Committee, Inc., Aging and Nutrition Services Department is accepting applications for a part-time Kitchen Helper. The permanent, part-time position will be scheduled approximately 30 hours per week on Mondays at

Swanton Senior Center(335 Swanton Rd., Swanton MD 21561) and Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday at

Grantsville Senior Center(125 Durst Ct., Grantsville, MD 21536)

Primary responsibilities include:

- Welcoming clients

- Accepting lunch reservations

- Food preparation

- Serving dine-in guests

- Packaging home-delivered meals for Meals on Wheels clients

- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with older adults

- Basic computer skills

- ServSafe certification

Compensation:This is a permanent, part-time position of 30 hours per week.

Pay from $15.38 per hour to $18.37 per hour depending on experience.
