Janitor**

Pay Rate: 16/hr
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of both internal and external facility grounds at all times.
+ Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning tasks in accordance with the master sanitation schedule.
+ Operate various cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers and aerial man lifts.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and immediately report any incidents or accidents to the production supervisor.
+ Operate a stand-up forklift and obtain necessary certification.
+ Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
+ Execute daily and scheduled cleaning tasks to ensure a sanitary work environment.
+ Continuously seek improvements in processes to reduce overall costs.
+ Communicate all relevant information to the shift supervisor.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by the production supervisor or management.
**Job Specifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ In-depth understanding and practical experience in production and manufacturing operations is preferred.
+ Must pass a drug screening and a criminal background check for felonies or open cases.
+ Capability to apply common sense in problem-solving situations with limited standardization.
**Work Conditions**
+ Ability to maintain concentrated attention to detail for prolonged periods.
+ Physically demanding work may require standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for shifts of eight or more hours.
+ Regularly required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects weighing up to 500 pounds.
+ Use of tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity may be necessary.
+ Requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment abilities.
+ Work area is not climate-controlled, with temperatures ranging from 20F to 115F.
+ Environment may be dusty and dirty, with fast-paced work demands that can change based on customer requirements.
