Groundskeeper

Job Type Full-time Description The Groundskeeper plays a key role in creating a welcoming, safe and well-maintained environment that residents are proud to call home. This individual is responsible for preserving the property's curb appeal and overall functionality while delivering excellent customer service to residents. The Groundskeeper must have a High School diploma or GED with some maintenance or similar environmental experience Minimum Qualifications: and some training in various maintenance procedures. Computer experience helpful. Must have a valid Florida drivers license, clean driving record as determined by the insurance carrier for the Diocese of Orlando.

Experience: The Groundskeepers must have a basic understanding of landscaping and grounds keeping. Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, purpose and utilize of pressure washer and basic hand tools. Communication skills are important in this position to work well in a team setting and complete repair projects under strict deadlines. Must be able to work independently. They also wear protective gear and must be able to lift 50 pounds. Also, requires walking, sitting, bending, stretching, and stooping for assemblage, set-up, and layout.
