We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher who is eager to advance within our team. No prior experience is required, as we are committed to training and promoting individuals to more experienced positions within our culinary department. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone aspiring to enter the food and beverage industry.

*Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

As a Dishwasher at Edgewood Country Club, you will be responsible for:
Arriving to shift on time; if unable to work, informing supervisor as soon as possible
Wearing proper work attire, including uniform, shoes and apron
Attending required meetings (all staff, pre and post service and/or line-up sessions)
Washing all glassware and dishes using both machine and manual methods
Cleaning pots and pans thoroughly
Sweeping and mopping the facility, ensuring all trash is removed from the building
Polishing silverware and glasses to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
Transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas efficiently
Handling all glass and plate ware carefully to ensure proper storage and minimize breakage
Inspecting kitchen area floors regularly to ensure they are dry and clean at all times
Assisting in putting away deliveries in their proper locations
Cleaning walk-in freezers and refrigerators thoroughly
Polishing refrigerator doors, table surfaces and windows on reach-ins
Cleaning the loading dock, breaking down paper boxes and disposing of garbage appropriately
Assisting chefs in food preparation tasks such as peeling or chopping food items
Ensuring compliance with all local health codes and HAACP procedures
Completing other related tasks as assigned
