Job Description:
The Facilities Support B / Secure Cleaner plays an important role in keeping our secure buildings clean and well-maintained. This includes offices, labs, manufacturing spaces, common areas, and high-reliability areas.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is open to learning the right cleaning methods for different spaces. Providing great customer service and maintaining a professional attitude is key.
Some overtime may be needed occasionally, so flexibility is a plus.

Essential Functions:
• Familiar with basic cleaning products and their uses.
• Perform vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping on a variety of flooring types, including stairs.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms on a daily basis.
• Wipe down and disinfect sinks, counters, tables, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms daily.
• Restock restroom and common area supplies, including hand towels, soap, sanitizer, and toilet paper.
• Empty trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as needed.
• Keep janitorial tools and equipment clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Follow proper procedures for labeling, diluting, and using cleaning chemicals.
• Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Monitor and replenish janitorial supplies in designated storage areas.
• Assist with other routine cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed.
• At least six months of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications:
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (must be able to speak and understand English).
• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Capable of working independently when needed to support team goals and meet service expectations.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office—especially Outlook.
