Who you are:

As the Receptionist at Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG), you'll be the first point of contact for guests, candidates, and team members at our Home Office in New York City. You are warm, highly organized, and service-driven - excelling in communication, multitasking, and creating a welcoming environment. You'll support daily office operations, uphold our standards of excellence, and help ensure the smooth flow of information and resources across the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
  • Welcome visitors, answer phone calls, manage general inquiries, and ensure a professional and hospitable front desk presence.
  • Oversee the functionality and upkeep of shared office spaces, supplies, and equipment.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel assignments as needed.
  • Prepare meeting rooms and organize catering or materials as needed.
  • Manage mail, shipments, deliveries, and other logistics to support office operations.
  • Assist with recordkeeping, employee directories, and internal communications.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to support planning, scheduling, and operational needs.

What we need from you:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease.
  • A warm, professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to embody Enlightened Hospitality and USHG's behaviors.
