**On-Board PMO is hiring a full-time (3 - 5 month assignment) Maintenance Associate Technician in Towanda, P.A.!**

**Position Details:**

**Position Type:** Full Time (3-5 month assignment)

**Job Location:** Towanda, PA

**Compensation:** $20.00/ per hour

**Benefits:** N/A

**Schedule:** Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm)

**Prerequisites:**

- Must have (or ability to get) pallet mule license.

- Must demonstrate Mechanical aptitude.

- Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.

- Driver's License and able to drive plant vehicles.

**Essential Duties/Responsibilities:**

- Follow site safety rules and be committed to working safely.

- Have experience and skills necessary to do and perform the following tasks:

- Inspect electrical cords in breakrooms, conference rooms, offices, and other non-production areas. (Training on the use of a multimeter for continuity)

- Inspect, relocate as needed, ensure repairs, prepare beam racks for coater use (They would look over the beam rack for broken welds, missing parts, etc. then inform a maintenance coordinator of the needed repair, the Coordinator would write a workorder and a mechanic would do the repair). (Training by procedure)

- General Building/Grounds housekeeping/maintenance

- Clean HVAC coils (they would work with guidance of the HVAC mechanic, but would likely do the cleaning without the HVAC mechanic being right there). (training by demonstration)

- Change air handler filters (assisting under the guidance of an HVAC mechanic). (training by demonstration)

- Storeroom assistance (help with stocking, inventory, counter help). (training by demonstration)

- Snow removal, i.e.. Shoveling, snowblower, plowing. (Training on the plant trucks, tractors, snowblower, small tractor)

- Installing/maintaining salt barrels

- Perform miscellaneous painting around the plant including preparation for painting (cleaning, taping, patching imperfections in walls, sanding, wire brushing, etc.).

- Assist mechanics as a mechanic's helper as needed.

- Travel to vendors to deliver/retrieve parts as needed (They would drive the plant pickup truck.)

- Change light bulbs in areas as needed. (Training by demonstration/Policy)

- Perform safety checks on emergency lights, fire extinguishers, safety showers, eye washes. (training by demonstration)

- Clean safety showers and eyewashes (training by demonstration)

- Take misc. readings on equipment (example is the sewer meter, they would just write down the numbers displayed on the meter). (training by demonstration)

- Move office equipment and cabinets.

- Replace ceiling tiles

- Select and use appropriate hand tools in a safe manner. (training by demonstration)

- Sweep and mop floors.

- File & pull maintenance paperwork (workorders, etc.). (training by demonstration)

- Ability to take direction and work unsupervised.

- Capable to work from a ladder, on rooftops or scaffolding. They would not be asked to go above OnBoard's height restriction. They will wear a harness. (training by demonstration)

- Work day shift but be flexible (some OT especially around plant shutdowns)
