Description: Valet Parking Attendant - to work in the Syracuse, NY area. We are looking for a FT employee with day time availability from 10am-6pm Monday-Friday. The position also will require covering 1pm-9pm shifts as needed. Applicants must also be able to cover shifts as needed at Turning Stone and/or Oswego Health as needed. The pay rate is $19.50/hour. Both written and verbal communication.Duties and responsibilitiesTo maintain a professional image for our client establishmentTo assist any and all patrons in any way we canTo park their vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring its safety at all timesTo run back to the valet station as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers will not have to wait for serviceTo get along well with their coworkers and enjoy their jobPhysical DemandsStanding for the duration of your shiftRunning/Jogging to retrieve cars up to 20 times a day or moreEntering and exiting customers' vehicles 6- or more times dailyLifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers' vehicles)Communicate effectively with customers and coworkersWork environment - Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employee's work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.
