Become the Receptionist you always wanted to be

• Answers all incoming calls and routes to appropriate area or individual.
• Greets all visitors; assists them in signing in and wearing badge.
• Enters and scans deposits, charges, and adjustments as directed.
• Assists in the entry of information related to admits, discharges, and physician changes.
• Runs and distributes census reports each morning and at end of day.
• Stamps all outgoing mail and monitors postage machine.
• Scans all correspondence and any miscellaneous items.
• Assists in the preparation of cash deposits as needed.
• Checks all therapy charges and attaches census to back of each therapist's batch.
• Organizes, plans, and manages time effectively to complete assignments.
• Meets position requirements and performs essential functions.
• Completes mandatory training and courses required by completion date.
• Reports questionable situations, concerns, complaints or harassment immediately.
• Receives patient deductible payments.
• Conducts monthly audit for charges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Working knowledge of switchboard equipment preferred.
• Ability to use computer systems and complete data entry is preferred.
• Knowledge of 10-key data entry method preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate, analyze, and make decisions.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts (weekdays, weekends, evenings, nights) as required.
