We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Poughkeepsie location. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
+ Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
+ Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
+ Verify patient insurance information
+ Collect co-pays and payments
+ Maintain patient records and update information as needed
+ Assist with administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
+ Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
