Food Service Worker

Follows all requests for special diets in order to assure good patient health. Maintains the kitchen area and supplies in a clean, safe and sanitary manner, upholding the standards of all federal, state and local licensure/regulations. Ensures that appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, freezer, etc.) are in operable condition. Places work orders on all appliances as needed. Maintains inventory and submits food/beverage orders to supervisor on a weekly basis. Receives menus and orders food for other programs. Maintains weekly/monthly food menu according to state/agency standards. Develops programming to improve life skills of clients (cooking programs). Schedule: This position requires the ability to work a 4 day work week! Hours are 10 hour shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays.
