Job Order in Connection with H-2B Application:

Royal O Real Estate Holdings, LLC d/b/a Omni Royal Orleans, headquartered at 621 St Louis St., New Orleans, LA 70130; phone number: ..., is seeking to fill **two (2) Dining Room Attendant/Busser** positions from **October 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026**. This is for full time, peak-load, temporary employment. **Duties include:** Workers will practice awareness of all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners. Workers will ensure that products are fresh and of quality, be responsible for transporting all necessary food items from the kitchen to the dining room as soon as possible while following all standards of service and provide customer service to external guests and internal guests. Workers will clean and maintain a hygienic and organized work area, ensure that all closing duties are completed, e.g. locking area, turning off equipment and lights, etc. and maintain cleanliness of server area machinery. Workers will perform other tasks as needed or as directed, stock and maintain supplies in service stations, set tables with clean linen, china, glassware and silverware and ensure furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to restaurant specifications. Workers will assist Servers during meal periods, remove any extra settings, and pour water. **Special Requirements:** Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Must have a current Louisiana responsible vendors permit. Must have a current ServSafe food handler's certification. Employers will help workers obtain the needed certifications and permits. You must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes am and pm shifts, days, weekends, and holidays. Must be certified as a TABC and food handler.

The pay is $15.00 per hour with overtime available at $22.50 per hour, based on hourly rate**. The work schedule is as follows:** 35 hours per week, Saturday to Friday, with varying 7-8-hour shifts, between 8 am and 10 pm. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. The requested temporary workers will be based at 621 St. Louis St., New Orleans, LA 70130.

Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is bi-weekly.

Employers will deduct all legally required amounts from workers' paychecks. All deductions required by the law will be made. Housing is available at a biweekly payroll deduction range of $330 to $370 with an initial damage deposit of $350 to $400. **The offered housing is optional for workers**. The employer will **not** provide daily transportation to and from the worksite.

Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for th benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to change.
