Summary:

Keeps rooms throughout the building and grounds in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleans and polishes building fixtures and trim.

• Keeps grounds free of debris.

• De-ices walkways if needed.

• Keeps parking lot clean and swept of litter and other debris.

• Cleans conference rooms, lab areas, break rooms, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, kitchens, and other work areas.

• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, vacuums, and polishes floor.

• Dusts furniture and equipment.

• Polishes metalwork.

• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.

• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.

• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.

• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.

• Recycles materials as instructed.

• Replenishes bathroom and break room supplies.

• Follows plant food safety policies and industry best practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.

• Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Entry level position, no minimum qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Janitorial experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Janitorial experience in an office environment.

• HS Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
