Custodian

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe building environment for students and staff
• Assist with cafeteria set-up for breakfast, lunch and extra activities as necessary
• Maintain security of building by locking and unlocking doors as required
• Turn lights on where needed each morning
• Pick-up trash outside and empty trash containers daily
• Assist in unloading deliveries
• Work with teachers and administration on any requests
• Responsible for snow removal and putting salt down on sidewalks when appropriate
• Assign responsibilities to all staff within the building assigned to cross train all personnel
• Flexibility is shifts based on the training needs of new staff
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisory Staff
