Anticipated Hours: ~10 p.m. to ~1 or 2 a.m. (exact schedule can be adjusted slightly to your needs), as many days a week as you want.
Start Date: Immediate
Anticipated Pay: $18/hour
Location: 74 Maine Street, Brunswick, Maine
Gelato Fiasco seeks an nighttime short-shift dishwasher at our Brunswick store. This is an opportunity to be part of the team for a small business that values a positive employee culture. You will clean, dry, and organize the day's dishes. The night will begin by saying hello to our customer service staff and then working independently for most of the night. Kitchen staff may also be wrapping up when you arrive.
The job takes about 2-4 hours per night, so this could be an add-on to another job or schooling, or as a reliable replacement or supplement to gig work.
Minimum Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a cleaning or dishwashing capacity is preferred. In lieu of experience, a history of responsible work.
- Tendency to like to keep things sparkling clean and sanitary.
- Must be responsible and focused to get the job done without much supervision.
- You may be working alone for parts of this shift, so you need be happy and comfortable with independent work.
- Clean and professional personal appearance.
- Desire to take direct but friendly feedback from management/co-workers about learning how to do the job well.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Anticipated Daily Responsibilities:
- Do the day's dishes, in sink and with commercial dishwasher.
- Make sure dish equipment is operating correctly and work with colleagues to resolve any issues.
- Organize incoming, outgoing, and drying dishes and insulated coolers.
