The Cocktail Server is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner. This role involves taking drink orders, preparing and serving beverages according to established recipes and standards, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Cocktail Server acts as a key point of contact for guests, contributing to a positive and memorable experience.
Essential Functions:
- Guest Interaction & Order Taking:
- Approach guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present beverage menus and answer questions about drink selections, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Take accurate drink orders, noting any special requests or modifications.
- Enter orders accurately and efficiently into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Anticipate guest needs and offer suggestions or additional beverages.
- Beverage Preparation & Service:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and established quality standards.
- Ensure proper garnishing and presentation of all drinks.
- Handle glassware and bar equipment safely and responsibly.
- Serve beverages promptly and efficiently to the correct guests.
- Monitor guest consumption and offer refills appropriately.
- Payment Handling:
- Present accurate guest checks.
- Process payments accurately using various methods (cash, credit card, mobile payment).
- Make accurate change and return it promptly to guests.
- Follow established cash handling procedures.
- Guest Satisfaction & Problem Solving:
- Proactively address guest concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Seek assistance from management when necessary to resolve complex issues.
- Ensure guests have a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Maintaining a Clean & Organized Work Area:
- Keep the bar area, service stations, and guest tables clean and tidy.
- Clear empty glasses and debris promptly.
- Restock bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, napkins, and straws.
- Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Adherence to Policies & Procedures:
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Adhere to all applicable alcohol beverage control laws and regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Other Tasks:
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Assist bartenders with tasks such as stocking ice, preparing garnishes, and retrieving supplies.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other service team members.
- Report any spills, accidents, or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

- Good manual dexterity for handling glassware and preparing drinks.
Qualifications:
