Meeting Planner Lead

Baird is seeking a dynamic Meeting Planner Lead to oversee the planning and execution of meetings and events within our Corporate Conference Centers. This leadership role will manage a team of planners and coordinators, ensuring seamless event delivery while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including AV, Hospitality Services, and Catering.

As a Meeting Planner Lead, you may:

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of meeting planners and coordinators
• Oversee event logistics from planning to execution and post-event review
• Collaborate with AV, hospitality, and catering teams to ensure high-quality service
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate performance metrics
• Support high-impact events and provide strategic planning guidance
• Monitor budgets, staffing, and conference center operations
• Drive continuous improvement and uphold Bairds client-first culture

What we look for:

• 5+ years in event planning, hospitality, or related leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of AV, catering, and event logistics
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 25%
